Joyful news, two cheery finds, & a question

Hi there,

How are you doing? I have had a few friends recently tell me they are so tired of winter and very ready for springtime. Endless days of rain or snow can feel monotonous, and sometimes we need some fun things to bring us out of a slump. I originally planned for this post to be for a survey, but then I decided I couldn’t wait to share some exciting news and two fabulous things with you!

1. We are going to be GRANDPARENTS!

Our son and his wife are expecting a baby this July, and my husband and I are over the moon about it! This will be our first grandbaby, and the gender reveal is coming soon. 2026 is going to be a banner year! There are many exciting things happening this year, but this tops them all.

2. Red Sneakers

I ordered these scarlet red sneakers and can’t wait to wear them! I love the pop of color- aren’t they fun? I own another pair of sneakers from this brand, and they’re incredibly comfortable. The color is so cheery and makes me smile.

3. A New Candle

I had been burning a warmer-scented, spicy candle and was ready for a change. I purchased this candle last year on a friend's recommendation. Oh my goodness, I wish I had opened it sooner! The fragrance is soft and feminine, and I love it! The candle is a splurge, so I had it sitting in my cart for quite some time until it went on sale.

4. A Survey
