Hi there, and welcome! This monthly newsletter contains recommendations, interesting articles, recipes, and fun finds. Get comfortable, settle in for a bit, and let’s get caught up. ☺️
April Chit Chat 🐣
It’s the first of May, and I’m writing this while on vacation in Vail with my husband, daughter, Lauren, and son-in-law, Daniel.☺️ We are having the best time! April was a wonderful, busy month, as you’ll notice in the highlights below. We continued with yard improvements, and they are all coming together nicely.
Here are the highlights from last month:
My lungs are finally healthy enough to take long, brisk walks (Hallelujah!), so I enjoyed walking dates with friends.
Tony and I attended an event at our local winery and ran into some friends we hadn’t seen in ages. We ended up enjoying our lunch together and had a great time!
Tony and I spent a long weekend in Tucson attending a conference hosted by a missions organization we support. The speakers were inspiring, and the resort was fabulous!
We celebrated Emily’s birthday with a fun dinner and loved having her home for the weekend!
Our daughter-in-law, Rielee, flew in for a quick trip home before she heads out to sea. It was an unexpected gift to spend some time with her.

Everyday Loves
I’ve been looking for clean, gluten-free protein bars and finally found them! They’re tasty and easy to grab when on the go.
I love to have a few white T-shirts, so I searched for one that wouldn’t break the bank. This cotton crew neck is long enough and opaque, so it’s a win!
I love playing this new word game daily. Have you tried it?
I own and love leggings from Girlfriend Collective. I recently purchased these, and the compression and stretch are hard to beat. The company sent me a code that gives you 30% off your first purchase of $150 or more, and you earn a Free Pair of Compressive Leggings when you buy. I’ve included the code here.

First of all, I’m coming for dinner!!! All those recipes looked amazing! I loved your essay about taking more photos of your mom, I only have a handful of mine and I regret that.
