Natalie's Notebook- February Recap
A stunning cookbook, the decoy effect, & a fun show to watch
If you're new here:
Welcome! This monthly newsletter is not just about recommendations, interesting articles, recipes, and fun finds; it’s about sharing a part of my life with you. When I write these, I like to imagine we are meeting in person for coffee, lunch, or a glass of wine to chat. So, pour yourself a drink, find somewhere comfortable to sit, and let’s get caught up. ☺️
February Chit Chat ❤️
Last month felt like a big hug. 🥰 February was filled with so much connection, and I loved it! My extrovert cup felt full in the best way. Also, you may notice that I have new branding for Everyday Natalie! I was ready for a change—I’d had the previous one for almost ten years. I’m very happy with it!
Here are my February highlights:
I’m continuing my decluttering project. I cleaned my laundry and medicine cabinets, and both look so tidy now.
The February sunrises made waking up early worth it.
Tony and I spent Valentine’s Day weekend together, visiting our favorite winery, meeting friends for dinner, and hiking.
I booked flights for upcoming trips and look forward to traveling.
As I mentioned, February was replete with social interactions: lunch with friends, several dinners with friends, book club, FaceTime calls, and a visit to see my friend’s baby.
Tony and I attended the local Philharmonic, which featured selections from Debussy, Prokofiev, and Gershwin. The performances were phenomenal!

Everyday Loves
This electric candle lighter has replaced my matches. I love how easy it is to use.
I’ve been applying this heel balm nightly to my feet, and now they’re baby-soft.

From the Kitchen

Here are some delicious things I made last month:
My 8-Year-Old Made This Chili. I love trying new chili recipes, and this one tasted delicious!
Whole 30 Chicken Soup. This soup is loaded with veggies and so flavorful.
Sheet Pan Mustard Salmon and Veggies. Oh my goodness, this one is a keeper! The vinaigrette is divine!
Double Chocolate Olive Oil Cookies. These cookies are rich and fudgy.
May your March bring you the marvelous signs of spring!
With love, Natalie xx

Happy March! 🌞🌷 What a lovely February round up, your gorgeous pictures 🌅 , delicious inspiration and ideas for warmer weather prepping – I need to look into your heel balm rec here! And an electric candle lighter - I’ve been digging into battery operated candles here, in fact, too - they seem to be getting better and more realistic all the time, especially those made from real wax – I put short, chunky ones into storm lanterns, and even have one flickering by the bathroom sink now when I’m doing my evening skincare. One less thing to think about with cats that like to investigate, too! Love the new everyday Natalie look! 😍💗
Wow, those sunsets are gorgeous!! I can't wait to see where you travel to next! Thank you for these great links! xx
