If you're new here:
Welcome! This monthly newsletter is not just about recommendations, interesting articles, recipes, and fun finds; it’s about sharing a part of my life with you. When I write these, I like to imagine we are meeting in person for coffee, lunch, or a glass of wine to chat. So, pour yourself a drink, find somewhere comfortable to sit, and let’s get caught up. ☺️
March Chit Chat 🌷
Spring is here! I love seeing flowers beginning to bud and bloom, cooking with fresh asparagus, and listening to all the birds chirping in the morning. March was a month of planning, connection, and decluttering.
Here are some of my other March highlights:
We enjoyed several dinner dates with friends.
We attended a fun chili festival with another couple.
My book club discussed this memoir, which chronicles a Nazi concentration camp prisoner experience and offers lessons for spiritual survival.
Speaking of a man’s search for meaning, I saw this movie with a coworker after reading the book.
Tony and I went on a few lunch dates and sat outside in the warm sunshine.
My oldest left for a seven-month deployment. I appreciate prayers for her and all the other military members away from home.
My husband took this video as he walked toward our garage! What a beautiful bobcat.

Everyday Loves
Checking in on the mom and eaglets daily. They’re adorable!
I ordered this French mustard for a dinner I made, and it’s fantastic! It’s great in salad dressings, sandwiches, burgers, etc. If you love whole grain mustard, I highly recommend buying this crock.
Spying the neighborhood egret one afternoon in my backyard, which flies around occasionally.
My son recommended this podcast, The Telepathy Tapes, which investigates the idea that non-speaking autistic individuals possess extraordinary communication abilities. I was pretty skeptical until I listened to the episodes and was blown away. We both work with students with autism, so the podcast was especially fascinating.

Do you use a humidifier or diffuser before bedtime? You might want to stop. (Note: I swear by the humidifier for my dry eyes and skin, but I’m fastidious about cleaning it and use distilled water.)
From the Kitchen

Here are some delicious things I made last month:
Sheet-Pan Greek Chicken: I substituted zucchini for the potatoes and skipped the feta. What a delicious dinner!
Best Easy Fish Tacos: I made taco bowls using extra shredded cabbage instead of tortillas.
Creamy Cauliflower Soup with Rosemary Olive Oil: (NYT gift link) This vegan soup is incredible! It’s filling and flavorful. Don’t skip the rosemary olive oil!
May your April be full of delight!
With love, Natalie xx

Hi Natalie! What a gorgeous bobcat and your other photos are stunning as always. We're avid Telepathy Tape listeners. Amazing!💕
A dose of much-needed Californian warmth and inspo 🌅 – we’ve got the sunshine in the UK (hooray!) but this really sends the summer vibes! 💗🌞 I am so curious to see that movie about doing the Santiago pilgrimage – I’ll have to see how we can watch it here. You must be getting so excited to do it!! That video of the bobcat is extraordinary – doesn’t look too different from our Miss Marie the tabby! 🐈 Sending love and prayers for your eldest. 🙏 what a great range of links, and you reminded me about the humidifier! Wishing you a wonderful weekend – almost! 😎🥰
