And yes to “Life rushes by, and noticing what brings us joy is important”. 🙏🏻 Loved reading about your midsummer (HOW?!) favourites and what makes summer for you - and that you included all the senses, like the scent of sun cream. For me, the fragrance of certain flowers, such as azaleas, is so evocative and takes me back to my London childhood summers. This year, we’re really enjoying bursts of brighter colours, planted as bulbs back in our little garden in the spring, including a single, crazy-bold magenta dahlia, which we call the “show off”! 🌺🌞
