I love finding tried-and-true products that I genuinely enjoy. As mentioned in my latest newsletter, I took time on the first of January to make lists: what worked and didn’t last year, my goals for the new year, and my favorites for 2024. One of those lists was my beauty favorites. I rounded up the best beauty products I used last year and am excited to share them with you! Some items have been in rotation for years, and others are new additions, but each one I used on repeat.
Beauty Favorites from 2024*
Makeup

Merit The Minimalist: I love this foundation stick! It provides light to medium natural-looking coverage, is easy to apply, and lasts all day, giving my skin a flawless finish. I wear the shade Bisque.
Merit Flush Balm: This creamy blush glides on with just a swipe or two. It blends well and adds dewiness to my skin. I wear the shade Stockholm.
Tarte Tartelette Tubing Mascara: My eyes are super sensitive, and many mascaras cause them to be itchy and irritated. This one does not! I love how easy it is to apply and remove. This mascara makes my lashes look so much longer and thicker!
Chanel Multi-Use Glow Stick: I use this moisturizing balm as a highlighter, offering a subtle radiance. The Sculpting shade doesn’t have any shimmer, just a satiny finish. When wearing this, I can’t tell you how often people tell me my skin looks fresh and healthy.
Skincare Products

May Lindstrom The Blue Cocoon: In my skincare routine post, I wrote that my skin is normal to dry and somewhat sensitive. When it’s feeling extra finicky, I slather this nourishing balm all over my face. It soothes, moisturizes, and reduces redness.
Tatcha The Dewy Skin: This rich cream hydrates and plumps my skin, perfect for the dry winter months. It sits beautifully under my makeup and doesn’t cause any pilling.
Neocutis Lumière Illuminating Eye Cream: I use this twice a day and love how it moisturizes the skin under my eyes. You only need to use a tiny bit, so a little goes a long way.
Son & Park Beauty Water: This toner/cleansing water mildly exfoliates, hydrates, and calms my skin. I use this nightly after cleansing my face.
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask: I keep a jar on my nightstand and use it every night. When I travel, I always bring it with me, and I haven’t found another product that moisturizes my lips as well.
Microfiber Face Cloths: I use these washcloths when I double cleanse to wipe off my oil-based cleanser. They’re inexpensive, soft, and absorbent.

Hair Care

Davines This is A Dry Texturizer: I have fine hair and sometimes need a little oomph. This texturizing spray doesn’t bother my eyes, doesn’t contain wheat(many do, and I’m allergic), and smells great.
Bumble and Bumble Sunday Shampoo: My hairstylist recommended this clarifying shampoo, and it works well to remove excess buildup from hair products. I use it twice a month.
Body Care

Rachel’s Plan Bee Hand Body Wash: I’ve used this brand for years and love the body wash, bee cream, and body oil. They contain clean ingredients and are softly scented.
Dr. Scholl’s Nano Glass Foot File: This is the best foot file I’ve ever used. The surface is smooth, but somehow, it exfoliates my feet so well.
Levoit Humidifier: I use the humidifier whenever the humidity is low, or my skin feels dry. I keep one on my nightstand and find it helps with my dry eyes and skin.
Finding beauty products that work well can make a big difference in helping you stick to a routine. I hope my list inspires you to try something new—who knows, it might become your favorite, too!
With love, Natalie xx

Yay!!! 🎉 ✨👏💖 I’ve been waiting for this post – so great to catch up on all your current favourites, I really need to look at that merit foundation stick, love the idea of the humidifier by your bed – you are going to influence me in the same way that you did the small white noise machine! 😆 This is wonderful, already got lots of links open 🙊– my biggest beauty win this year has been a combination of Jones Road – again! – and Westman Atelier. I’m going to look at the Chanel clear gloss highlighting stick again as well now! 💖✨ 🙌
Thank you so much for this, Natalie. I love finding good quality products to use. I live in the UK and have dry skin, so I just bought your Laneige Lip Mask. I find myself reaching for chapstick often through the night, so I’m excited to try this! As always, it’s great to see photos of the products to know what to look for and your links are so helpful. Hope you and Tony are both well! Xx
