Hello again!
I’m continuing my posts on entertaining with today’s topic: what to serve at your next dinner party.
I’ve put together menu suggestions that include the main course and a few sides. They are categorized by dishes that use chicken, beef, fish, or are vegetarian. I’ve also included a soup, chili, and stew. Some recipes already serve over four people; for others, you may need to double them depending on how many guests you’re feeding.
Many of the recipes here can be adapted to be gluten—and dairy-free, and none are overly complicated. All are likely to please any crowd! I hope this is a post you will refer back to any time you invite friends over for dinner.
Happy Entertaining!

“When we invite friends for a meal, we do much more than offer them food for their bodies. We offer friendship, fellowship, good conversation, intimacy, and closeness. When we say, 'Help yourself… take some more… don’t be shy… have another glass…' we offer our guests not only our food and drink but also ourselves. A spiritual bond grows, and we become food and drink for one another.”

Ok.. so how is it that I read your posts and end up starving, even when I’ve just had dinner!? These recipes look sooo delicious!! And I appreciate that there’s beef, chicken, fish and more - not just one meat. I’ve been thinking about getting a crockpot, what do you think? I live alone and sometimes I think it would help. And I love your quote! We do more than invite people for food when we open our doors.. Awesome!! Xx
Now I’m hungry!
