Yes!! Love this. Ditto with you and Liz on the cats!! Also, Will and I woke to the most extraordinary sight of the sunrise reflecting on the white wings of a flock of seagulls in flight the other morning. It was barely light, and the effect was like looking at angels swooping and gliding almost on the horizon. Extraordinary! 🤍
My first sip of coffee each morning and a lovely phrase that stops you in your track like this one, "...the little sacred things amidst the mundane" are on my list as well. Thank you for this reminder!💕
Thank you for the reminder to take note of these glimmers, these special reminders of the Holy in our lives. For me, the smell of the outdoors upon waking up in the morning, the sound of quiet when in nature, the smell of jasmine in the spring, clouds as they roll through the sky, sunrise and sunset, and that special look in your lover’s eyes.
Natalie, this made stop right where I was: “the habit of seeing and experiencing the holy right in the middle of whatever you're facing”. What an awesome statement. So blessed by this post, thank you!! Xx
Glimmers are reminders that we are not alone. Call it that still small voice, hopeful expectations, they are the most welcoming buoyant nuggets one can receive. The trick is quieting our souls long enough to experience one. Love this post! Thank you

What a marvelous thing to witness!
French fries and purring cats are definitely on my list too! I love this and it reminded me of the great list my friend Kim put together here: https://kimwindyka.substack.com/p/just-a-list-of-75-good-things

I wrote down “the first sip of coffee” in my pages of notes. Thanks for sharing your friend’s post! 💖
