I also love Italian carciofi/artichoke in olive oil – not sure what you call them in 🇺🇸? 🥰

Love all of this! Definitely going to tuck some of these ideas away 💯 – and you are so right about what a difference presentation makes with pre-dinner nibbles – I’m always struck by how it’s done in Italy with antipasti and, also, tapas in Spain. A little terracotta, hand-painted ceramic bowl or simple slate platter can go a long way! Even just a sharing platter alone can feel like a meal when it’s stacked beautifully like those you’ve shown – so much literal yummy food for thought! 💭😍 for us, I really enjoy, getting out all the one off Mediterranean crockery bowls and plates, and filling them with crisps and dips and olives. Crisps, or potato chips as you call them, are hands-down my weakness - and my favourite!! 🫒❤️🥰🤗

Yes to crisps, dips, and olives! Those are my favorite simple hors d'oeuvres. I bet they look so pretty in Mediterranean crockery!
